The premium Stellantis brand will be headed, in France, by Joël Verany, from 1 December 2022. He will be supported by brand managers, Edouard Marlin for DS Automobiles and Quentin Ghestenne for Alfa Romeo/Lancia.

Director of DS France since June 1, 2022, Joel Verany lead in Stellantis France. Starting December 1, he will be Director of Premium Brands for Stellantis France (DS car, Lancia and Alfa Romeo) under the responsibility Guillaume Couzy, Director of French Stellantis.
According to the manufacturer, “this department will be tasked with ensuring a differentiated premium approach to customer experience and related range development while spearheading Retailer contracts with premium brands.”

In his new role, Joël Verany will be able to rely on two marketing departments (DS on one side and Alfa Romeo/Lancia on the other) as well as two brand managers and a sales department with two regional departments combining land for premium brands. .
In this new organization, the brand manager of DS Automobiles in France is Edward Martinand Quentin Ghestenne is Alfa Romeo/Lancia.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ParisTech) in 1998, Joël Verany began his career as a financial consultant in Mazars, where he remained for nearly three years. In 2001, he joined the PSA group as a financial analyst in the automotive division before embarking on a more trading and distribution oriented career in France.

In October 2005, he became zone manager for the brand’s Southwest region Peugeot. In September 2010, he was appointed director of the Peugeot outlets in Antibes (06) and Cagnes-sur-Mer (06) to, three years later, head the Peugeot branch in Mulhouse (68) where he will stay for two years.
In 2015, within PSA Retail, he took over the management of the Peugeot brand branch, Citroen and DS Automobiles in the Paris area. In March 2017, he was appointed Director of Sales and Network Development for Citroën in India with the responsibility of setting up the entire commercial ecosystem necessary to launch the brand in the country. In May 2021, he became director of commercial performance and marketing at Stellantis India, more specifically for the Citroën and Jeep brands. On 1 June 2022, he took over management of DS France.
