mma fighter Jeka Saragih demanded that his hometown of Simalungun be repaired when he met directly with the Governor of North Sumatra Edy RahmayadiMonday (31/10).
Governor Edy Rahmayadi has invited Jeka Saragih to visit his official residence located at Jalan Sudirman number 41 Medan.
On this occasion, Jeka Saragih asked Edy Rahmayadi to help repair the roads in his hometown, Bah Pasussang, Raya District, Simalungun Regency.
Jeka admitted that the access road to his village is currently in very poor condition and lacks lighting, which makes it difficult for residents to move around. Indeed, according to him, children who go to school choose to rent near the school so as not to be bothered by degraded roads.
“My request, Mr. Governor, please come to my village. Bah Pasussang is repaired. On average, those who want to go to school from my village have to live in accommodation, not to mention the difficult telephone network. I didn’t even know I had arrived yet,” said Jeka Saragih.
Moreover, Jeka Saragih also asked the people of North Sumatra to pray for the next match against Indian fighter, Anshul Jubli in February 2022.
“I ask for your prayers, your support as I will be fighting Indian fighters in South Korea in February,” Jeka Saragih said.
Meanwhile, Edy Rahmayadi said he would immediately repair the roads to Jeka Saragih’s hometown. “We will see, we will process this, it is one of my highest forms of appreciation with you,” explained Edy Rahmayadi.
Edy Rahmayadi also gave a message to Jeka to remain humble despite his extraordinary achievements on the international stage. He hopes that after this another “Jeka Saragih – Jeka Saragih” will appear which will make North Sumatra proud.

After meeting Edy Rahmayadi, Jeka Saragih then met with Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, Musa Rajekshah alias Ijeck at his residence in Jalan Teuku Daud Medan on Monday (10/31). During the meeting, Jeka also expressed her wish that the road leading to her village be repaired.
