Indonesian U-17 National Team secured a 3-1 victory over India in the first test match at Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Sunday (25/8) evening WIB.
Indonesia immediately went on the offensive to break down India's defence. As a result, Mierza Firjatullah was fouled inside the Indian penalty area in the 14th minute.
This violation started with Mierza's quick movement on the left side of the attack. He rushed into the penalty area until he was finally violated by an Indian defender right in the penalty area.
Evandra Florasta, who stepped in as executor, calmly headed the ball past the Indian goalkeeper and made it 1-0.
India had a chance to equalise in the 23rd minute. Bharat Lairenjam fired a shot but it was blocked by the U-17 national team goalkeeper Dafa Al Gasemi.
A minute later, India had another golden opportunity. This time, Ahongshangbam Samson fired a powerful shot that still hit the crossbar.
India missed another golden opportunity to equalise early in the second half as Vishal Yadav's shot from an open position actually went wide of the goal.
The Indonesian U-17 national team was then able to double their lead to 2-0 in the 50th minute. Fandi Ahmad, who had just come on in the second half, calmly headed the ball towards goal after chaos broke out in the Indian penalty area.
India finally managed to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 52nd minute. Levis Zangmilun managed to put the ball into an empty net using the ball that bounced after hitting the goal post.
The Indonesian U-17 national team managed to prevail again in the 61st minute. Mierza managed to shake the Indian goal to score his second goal of the match and make it 3-1.
India tried to recover after falling behind 1-3 against Garuda Nusantara. Levis and his friends tried to attack the Indonesian U-17 national team's defense but it was still difficult as the defense was quite solid.
The Indonesian national team managed to maintain their lead for the rest of the match. As a result, the Indonesian U-17 national team won with a score of 3-1 against India in the first test match.
