Similar criticisms have also come from Islamic organizations in India. The All India Muslim Private Law Council (AIMPLB) and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said they condemned the Udaipur incident as “un-Islamic”.

“No one has the right to take justice into their own hands. Islamic Sharia does not allow this. Therefore, the Indian government must not ignore responsibility for the type of division and hatred that exists in this country today. , which the government deliberately contributes,” said Executive Member AIMPLB, SQR Ilyas.

Ilyas said that so far no legal action has been taken by the government regarding the case of harassment of the Prophet by Nupur Sharma.

According to him, if the government wants to control the hot situation and the radicalization of society, the government must take strong legal action against all perpetrators.

“We are in no condition to justify the incident, but such an atmosphere created itself,” Ilyas said.

Earlier, a Hindu tailor was killed after being beheaded by two men in Udaipur, India. The incident allegedly happened because the tailor supported Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician who insulted the Prophet Muhammad.

The incident was also shared by the two perpetrators in a video recording on social media. After that, the video went viral and the government of Udaipur blocked the internet in the region. The government has also banned assembly activities to prevent the spread of further clashes.

Now the killers have been arrested. The police confirmed that they would impose severe punishments on both of them.

“The two defendants in the murder case have been arrested and we will ensure strict punishment and justice as soon as possible,” Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Twitter on Tuesday (6/28).
