Indian evisa issue Multiple/excessive applications – India Forum

Good morning,

I applied for a visa to India last Monday. The problem is as follows: When I paid, an error message appeared, so I repeated my entire EVISA application. I don’t know why I don’t receive any request validation emails in my mailbox (wanaddo,.fr).

A few days later I decided to check whether the evisa had been validated directly on the Indian government website. I then saw that my request was rejected due to “Double/excessive requests”. I don’t know why but finally the first request is taken despite the error message.

By digging a little on the internet it seems that the first evisa application was validated and the second was rejected. However, I have no way to know the status of my first application because I did not receive an email in my mailbox and on the website when checking the evisa status I immediately came to my second application.

If I make a new evisa application, there is a risk of being rejected again because it looks like another application was approved. I contacted the Indian Embassy in Paris but received no response. I also sent an email explaining my situation last Friday, but no response yet.
