India Will Overtake China As Most Populous Country In 2023 – Local News and World Morocco | Jewish news from Morocco, latest news | מרוקו ג׳וייש טיימס, חדשות מרוקו והעולם | Moroccan News

India is expected to overtake China as the world’s most populous country by 2023, according to United Nations (UN) data.

China started 2023 as the world’s most populous country, with around 1.4 billion people.

But according to the United Nations, India will become the world’s largest country in mid-April, when its population reaches 1.43 billion.

The world population will reach 8 billion in November 2022, but growth is not as fast as before.

China is one of many countries with a declining population. Low birth rate, which could lead to a population decline of 48 million people by 2050.

India’s birth rate is much lower than before, but not as low as China’s. Better health care also means people are living longer.

Of course it is difficult to know the exact number of people in each country, but this is the best estimate based on UN data.

According to the UN, the world population will not reach 9 billion people before 2037, and most of the world’s growth until 2050 will occur in eight countries.

More than half of the projected population increase will be concentrated in Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Tanzania.

But in many parts of the world, including a number of countries in Europe, the population is declining. In Bulgaria, Croatia, Japan, Serbia and Ukraine, for example, populations are expected to decline by more than 15% by 2050.

But as people are living longer, it’s not just the shrinking population that the country is concerned about, but also the growing number of elderly people to care for.
