India: When the world's largest democracy votes

India voted. The country has recently benefited from geopolitical power struggles and is considered an engine of global growth. Will Narendra Modi run for a third term in India?

The world's largest democracy is electing a new parliament. About 969 million people are eligible to vote in India, and the election lasted almost a month and a half. In this episode, Natalie Mayroth, “Presse” India correspondent, talks about election days with a heat wave, about the economic upturn that India has experienced recently, and about how Narendra Modi's policies have been received by the public so far.
