“The second game was more monotonous to play because of course the enemy also learned to change their strategy too and were better prepared in the first set, just in the second set when the pattern of play was changed, but I I still applied the pattern of play as in the first set,” said Ginting.
“Although I tried to change the strategy more, but maybe it’s not ‘In’ right away and it’s not consistent enough to change the strategy, but in the third set I can consistently focus on implementing the strategy,” he said.
Anthony Ginting himself will face the representative of Thailand, Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the semi-finals on Saturday (21/1).
On this subject, Anthony Ginting said that his focus is now on recovery and preparation for the semi-final match.
“There are still assignments tomorrow so focus more on recovery today because today the game is quite close, later after that there will be a discussion about today’s game as well , what the evaluation looks like, and of course later you will also learn what the potential opponent of tomorrow will look like, so it will be more Prepare first,” he said.
“All the performances were also good from the first to today and I hope tomorrow will be even better, especially being able to be more focused and not as monotonous as the game before,” he concluded. .
