Take advantage of the luxurious services of five-star hotels without worrying about expensive bills incurred at the end of the stay. For two years, it was the daily life of a man, in India, who was allegedly involved in a plot involving company employees. The scene took place near Indira Gandhi International Airport, in New Delhi, the capital of India, local media reported Indian Express. The fraudulent amount will be up to 58 lakh rupees, or nearly 65,000 euros.
What should have lasted one night ended a year and a half later, a total of 603 days without arousing the slightest bit of suspicion. Arriving in May 2019, the suspect left the premises in January 2021, without paying the fee. And for good reason, he would instigate a plot in which many Roseate hotel employees would become involved, including the reception manager.

Multi-faceted fraud
THAT modus operandi apparently quite simple. On orders from the head of reception, the employee falsified the hotel’s account to hide the fraud. In a few clicks, they removed evidence proving the customer’s existence thanks to an effective hack of the hotel’s computer system.
Justice has decided to open an investigation following a complaint filed by the hotel. The suspect will not make his first attempt. The police suspected that the man had committed fraud at the same place, which manifested itself in cash payments.
