Badminton News: The young Indian team made an impressive start to their campaign at the Asian Junior Badminton Championships in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, claiming a 5-0 landslide victory over Bangladesh on Friday.

The Indian team put in a solid performance, winning all matches against their opponents.

This successful start set a positive tone for India’s run in the tournament and showcased the team’s potential and skills in junior badminton.

The opening match with mixed doubles duo Samarveer and Radhika set the tone for the team beating Nazmul Islam and Smrity Rajbongshi of Bangladesh by a convincing score of 21-12, 21-10.

Their incredible coordination and strategic play gave their opponents no chances throughout the match. Tara Shah and Ayush Shetty continued their winning streak with dominating performances in their respective matches.

In the women’s singles match, Tara showed her class and defeated her opponent Smrity Rajbongshi with an impressive score of 21-2, 21-7.

In men’s singles, Ayush Shetty showed his talent and prowess on the court by beating his opponent Alam Ullah 21-5, 21-9 in just 21 minutes.

Men’s doubles pair Nicholas and Tushar also won easily after beating Nazmul Islam and Alam Ullah 21-13, 21-12.

In Taneesha women’s doubles, Karnika showed great teamwork and timing against Jesmin Kona and Mathena Biswas en route to winning 21-8, 21-15 in 19 minutes.

The Indian team will next face Hong Kong and Malaysia on Saturday.
