Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a large statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose near India Gate in the nation’s capital on Thursday. Standing 28 feet tall, the jet black granite statue will be placed under the canopy near India Gate. The statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to be unveiled by the Prime Minister will be placed in the same spot where a hologram statue of Netaji on Parakram Diwas (January 23) of him was unveiled earlier this year to mark the 125th birthday of Netaj.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will open a three-day conference with public Expo Manthan in Bengaluru on Thursday to anchor discussions on various issues and opportunities in the infrastructure sector, according to an official statement. Discussions will include roads, new materials and technologies, road safety, vehicle safety, alternative and future mobility, cable cars, multimodal logistics parks, Parvatmala and digital interventions, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in the statement.
