Sources also told the daily that special trains will run from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra and will stop at Sabarmati and Ahmedabad, both of which are in close proximity to the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Regarding the train timings, a senior official told News18 that the train will arrive in the city just a few hours before the start of the match. This is intended to combat problems such as expensive trips, shortages and expensive stays.
“The planning has been made so that the train reaches Ahmedabad a few hours before the start of the match so that passengers can easily return to their home destinations after the end of the competition,” said a senior official as quoted by News18.

Regarding the purpose of these special trains, the official told the daily that they would enable the spectators to travel back home after the match.
To make the travel experience memorable for cricket fans, Railways also plans to play patriotic music, recreate past cricket matches between the two countries and also offer special merchandise to provide cricket fans with a memorable travel experience.
India and Pakistan have a deep-rooted cricketing rivalry, having met seven times in World Cups. In all seven cases, India emerged victorious, a series that also includes victories in T20 World Cups. Nevertheless, this series was ended in 2021; However, India bounced back with a remarkable win in the 2022 edition and reaffirmed their dominance over their arch-rivals.
