This bike should have a close fight with the Suzuki Katana based on the same model bike.

As Rideapart reported on Thursday (3/24/2022), the Hawk 11 is powered by 1,082cc of power derived from the Africa Twin (and NT1100) model, with output up to 100hp at 7,500rpm and a torque of 104.3 Nm at 6,250 rpm.

However, unlike the Africa Twin and NT1100 which are offered with a semi-automatic DCT transmission, the Honda Hawk 11 is only offered with a conventional six-speed gearbox.

Additionally, the Honda Hawk 11 also uses the same semi-double cradle steel frame as the Africa Twin and NT1100 models, but with a lighter design.

The swingarm and 17-inch rims come from the NT1100 model, while the Showa SFF-BP fork front suspension is a different unit from the NT1100 model.

The braking system consists of four-piston Nissin calipers with 310mm rotors. Honda also emphasizes ergonomics, saying the Hawk 11 fits riders with a starting height of 1.55 meters without having to adjust the saddle height.

The Hawk 11’s design is indeed a more modern evolution of the previous Neo-Sports Cafe machine, with a bullet-shaped front end design and lowered side mirrors.

Among the modern technologies loaded include an electric throttle system, engine and drive mode mapping options, adjustable engine brake control and throttle response adjustment.

All important travel information can be read via a simple LCD screen without the presence of the color TFT screens that are increasingly common these days.

At the same time, Honda also presented elements of modifications that can be made to the Honda Hawk 11, such as a silver / black finish, a Moriwaki exhaust system and a set of rear footrests different from the standard model.
