TRIBUNNEWS.COM, NEW DELHI – Google relaunched the Street View feature in India after six years or to be precise in 2016, India had rejected the Street View feature as it involved national security concerns.
Google said it has partnered with tech companies such as Genesys and Tech Mahindra to relaunch the Street View feature, which is now available in 10 cities across India.
Additionally, Google also hopes to roll out the feature to 50 Indian cities by the end of this year.
It is the first time, company executives told a news conference in New Delhi, that Google has partnered with a third-party company for Street View.
Launched 15 years ago, Street View has been broadcast in over 100 countries and has amassed over 220 billion Street View images.
