The doodle shows India celebrating 75 years of independence with a soaring kite symbolizing that the country has reached extraordinary heights.
In 1947, India broke away from British colonial rule after a long struggle. Independence Day is a national holiday to commemorate and commemorate the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who fought for the independence of our country.
The 2022 Independence Day Doodle “depicts the culture around kites – from the craftsmanship of creating beautiful, shiny kites to the fun experiences of a community coming together. The vast expanse of sky dotted with kites is a colorful symbol of the heights we have reached. Animated GIFs add dynamism and bring doodles to life. »
In the doodle, artist Neethi says one of our fondest memories, the centuries-old tradition of kite flying has become an integral part of India’s Independence Day celebrations.
“The kites are also an outlet for artistic expression – many of them carry fashionable designs or even social messages. I designed a kite that represents our national colours, a message of love and commemorates the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. They fly as high as skyscrapers, birds and I want to believe the sun,” he said.
Several events were organized this year under the banner of “Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav”, to celebrate India’s Independence Day with the theme “Nation First, Always First”.
