Jakarta: Google Bard received a number of new features and functions last Thursday, in the latest AI chatbot update. These new features and functions include greater linguistic knowledge, as well as better control over responses.
To quote Engadget, other features and functionality accepted by Google Bard also include the ability to reply with spoken words in addition to text. In total, the AI can now converse in almost four dozen languages.
Users can now chat with this AI chatbot in languages such as Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi and Spanish, and can access the platform from multiple locations around the world, like Brazil and across Europe.

Additionally, in a Thursday, July 13, 2023 blog post, Bard Product Manager Jack Krawczyk and Vice President of Engineering Bard Amarnag Subramanya wrote that by providing support for more locations and languages, they continue to use AI principles as a guide.
In addition, the two Bard officials also wrote that their party has also incorporated user feedback and taken steps to protect user privacy and data. Once able to speak, the user will have the option to read or listen to the response generated by the bard.
Krawczyk and Subramaya think this feature will be very useful when users want to hear the correct pronunciation of words in the 40 languages Google just added.
Users can also now enjoy more reliable control over Bard’s usability over five different options for this AI chatbot’s speech tone, namely simple, long, short, professional, or casual.
At this time, this option is only available in English on demand, but Google is working to expand support for this feature to more than 40 languages supported by Bard in the near future.
The chatbot also supports a number of new advanced multimodal eyes, gaining the ability to interpret images sent in chat via custom fields. Easier and faster than uploading it as a document, users can request more information about the content of the image.
Additionally, users can also generate content such as image-based captions, although this capability can only be done on-demand in English.
