Bela Estate no longer exists. Six months ago, this green plain on the banks of the Yamuna River was inhabited by 4,000 people. Construction workers, farmers and entire families have lived there, some for decades. All that remained of their house today were a few scattered bricks and rubble. The central government brought it all down five and a half months before the summit of G20 leaders taking place this weekend in the Indian capital.
