Focus on Teens with Eight Films in Contest

This international event is the second edition which will end on Sunday 23 June. Eight cinematographic works are in progress and offer many youth-focused stories. These films come from various countries including India, Ireland, Egypt, Belgium, France, England and the United States.

Biarritz Nouvelles Vagues Film Festival: a space for young people!

Among the recent cinematographic events in France, the Biarritz Nouvelles vague festival New Wave deserves special attention. The second edition is in full swing until Sunday 23 June. This festival is unique because it highlights films from around the world that awaken the passion of youth, their stories, dreams and dynamics.

Eight films, French and international, are part of this year's official selection (all of these films premiered in France). They will be judged by a jury of eight people, all under 35 years old.

In addition to the main competition, the Nouvelles Vagues festival also offers the possibility of viewing more than one thirty films. These films were selected by six guests of honor, who each chose the film they felt best represented young people. Among the guests of honor were Alice Diop, Alain Chabat, James Franco and Matt Dillon.

The Nouvelles Vagues Festival also offers unique meeting and preview times, with directors and actors in attendance. This year, the public will have the opportunity to get a preview Jim's novels created by the Larrieu brothers, Rough diamond by Agathe Riedinger, count of Monte Cristo by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, and Tatami by Zar Amir (Interpretation Prize at Cannes in 2022) and Guy Nattiv.
