The flood situation in Assam worsened on Monday, with over 105,000 people affected by the flood in eight districts, an official bulletin said.
According to the daily flood report of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), over 105,700 people have been affected by the floods in the districts of Baksa, Barpeta, Darrang, Dhemaji, Goalpara, Karimganj, Nagaon and Nalbari.

The worst affected district is Karimganj, where over 95,300 people are suffering, followed by Nagaon, where nearly 5,000 people are affected, and Dhemaji, where more than 3,600 people are suffering from the floods, it said.
By Sunday, around 6,000 people in four districts of the state had suffered from the floods.
A total of 34 people died in the floods, landslides and storms this year.
The administration operates eleven relief camps in one district, where 3,168 people have found shelter, and three distribution centers for relief supplies.
The authority has distributed 21.5 quintals of rice, 3.81 quintals of dal, 1.14 quintals of salt and 114 litres of mustard oil to the flood victims in the last 24 hours.
According to ASDMA, 309 villages are currently under water and 1,005.7 hectares of agricultural land have been damaged across the state.
In Bongaigaon, Chirang, Dhemaji, Goalpara, Hojai, Nagaon, Tamulpur, Darrang, Nalbari, Lakhimpur and Udalguri, embankments, roads, bridges and other infrastructure were damaged by floods.
According to ASDMA, the flow of the Kopili river near Kampur is currently exceeding the danger mark.
Due to the widespread flooding, more than 62,173 livestock and poultry animals have been affected nationwide.
