FIFM pays tribute to Indian actor Ranveer Singh

Marrakech – Placed under the High Protection of HM King Mohammed VI, the 19th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival (FIFM) paid a special tribute Friday night to Indian actor Ranveer Singh.

In this tribute ceremony, which was marked by the presence of the brightest stars from national, Arab and international cinema, as well as figures from the worlds of art, culture and media, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh thanked the Festival Foundation, before accepting the Star Gold presented to her by the adviser to the President of the Foundation, Mélita Toscane du Plantier.

The actor from India did not fail to express his joy at being able to attend Marrakech as well as his love for the admirers of the city of Ocher who welcomed him in a warm and festive atmosphere.

The Asian star felt that this award would serve as a motivation to continue presenting more innovative and creative works in the future, expressing his pride in representing Bollywood cinema on the occasion of this great cinematic event.

“Today we celebrate a great actor, with a strong original personality”, welcomed Mélita Toscane du Plantier in a speech before handing over the Etoile d’Or to the Indian star, adding that around twenty films in a decade helped transform all popular Indian cinema.
