1. FIFA freezes Indian football
The Indian Football Association (AIFF) has been suspended by FIFA due to third party interference in violation of FIFA Statutes on Tuesday (16/8).
The certainty was achieved after FIFA posted an official announcement on its website stating that FIFA had frozen the AIFF.
FIFA suspended the AIFF after India’s top court dissolved the Football Federation of India (AIFF) in May and appointed a three-member trustee committee to regulate the sport.

2. Herry IP calls Fajar/Rian the most ready before the world championship
Indonesian men’s doubles coach Herry Iman Pierngadi predicts doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto have the best chance of becoming the 2022 badminton world champion.
The fifth ranked double in the world is called Herry the most ready. The coach nicknamed the Fire Dragon believes that the performances of both in 2022 are on the rise. Their confidence continues to be checked from event to event.

3. Indonesia U-16 national team proud to be invited to Merdeka Palace
The invitation to attend the August 17 independence ceremony at Merdeka Palace for the Indonesian U-16 national team was seen as a pride for the players.
A total of 28 players and five coaches from the Indonesian U-16 national team will attend the commemoration ceremony for the 77th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
“It is an honor for the players and of course PSSI was invited to the palace to participate in the flag ceremony. Thanks to Mr. President Joko Widodo and Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali for being so attentive to the national football,” said PSSI General President Mochamad Iriawan as quoted on the official PSSI website.
