Sri Vadakkunnathan Temple has amazing frescoes which also help to make this temple a famous site. It is an important place of pilgrimage during the Maha Shivaratri festival.
4. Vidyashankara Temple, Karnataka
Vidyashankara Temple in Sringeri, Karnataka was built in the 14th century in memory of Guru Vidhyashankara. This temple is a mixture of Dravidian architecture and Hoysala style. The Vidyashankara Temple has detailed inscriptions that give an overview of the Vijayanagar kingdom.
