Fajar/Rian Win Rs 1.97 Billion Richest Players in Indonesia in BWF Tour 2022

Men’s doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto become the Indonesian player with the largest collection of prize money in Indonesia BWF Tour 2022 until July of this year.

In released data BWF On Thursday (21/7), Fajar/Rian were recorded as having collected prize money of US$65,630 each or the equivalent of Rs 987 million till July 18, 2022.

Thus, Fajar/Rian received a total prize of US$131,260 or the equivalent of Rp 1.97 billion from the BWF Tour 2022 series until July 18, 2022.

Fajar/Rian are ranked 11th among the players who have won the most awards on the 2022 BWF Tour until the middle of this year. The top position was taken by Danish men’s singles Viktor Axelsen with US$232,750 or the equivalent of Rp. 3.49 billion.

Throughout this year, Fajar/Rian have won the Swiss Open 2022, Indonesia Masters 2022 and Malaysia Masters 2022. Besides, they have also been runners-up at Korea Open, Thailand Open, at the Malaysian Open and finally at the Singapore Open 2022.

Meanwhile, Jonatan Christie was in 22nd place with a prize money collection of US$46,360 or the equivalent of Rs 696 million. Jojo won the Swiss Open this season and finished second in the Korea Open.

Meanwhile, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, who won the All England 2022, were in 23rd position, each earning US$43,894 or the equivalent of Rs 659 million.
