Philippe aghion a little less alone at the top of the academic world. In the coming days, a second economist will join the prestigious Collège de France to take up the chair of law. A professor of a different kind, tied to experiments in real situations, will dissect the relationship between poverty and public policy: French-American and co-recipient of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Economics, Esther Duflo.
