Export Import will be the last show offered at the Maison de la Musique in the cultural season called “En Route”. This time, the route heads halfway between Marseille and India.
For those who love to travel, Export Import will have the ability to transport spectators across borders more easily than airplanes and without time differences.
Two countries united in internal territory
For those who love poetry, music and spoken word, Marien Guillé takes them out of the library and acts as a storyteller.
Export Import represents an achievement in writing, form, originality and the local poet, as he calls himself, has found his place.
This is the origin story, combining the Indian roots of a father he never knew with the scent of Provence where he lived. The container marked “Made in France” then crossed the container marked “Made in India” and the two countries met in the internal region.
Alone on stage, he plays several characters at once, with humor and sarcasm, highlighting the streets, the people, the colors and the spirit of India. The charm, the change of scenery, moments of happiness to be discovered and enjoyed without moderation.
This is the last meeting at the classical cultural venue, before the relocation to the Erstein hospital center for a temporary large theater, from mid-May to early June.
