Printer manufacturer Epson India has hired actress Rashmika Mandanna as its brand ambassador. The actress will be working with the company this month to promote its products in a multimedia campaign for its “EcoTank” printers. In a collaboration with the actress – known for her performances in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil cinema – the company announced in a statement that Mandanna said it hopes to capitalize on her popularity to reach a wider audience at large country, especially the younger generation. Mandanna said, “I am delighted to be working with them and promoting the printing solutions they offer.” I am excited and eager to spread the message of change.” Tushad Talati, Director of Brand and Communications at the company, said: “We are very pleased to have Rashmika Mandanna as our brand ambassador. With this campaign we hope to reach a wider audience.” Spread awareness of printers and their benefits. This association will help us communicate how our products provide meaningful value that enriches lives and helps create a better world.” Mandanna also endorses brands such as PlayerzPot, 7Up, Eva by TTK Healthcare, and others.

A recent report titled Celebrity Brand Valuation by corporate intelligence and risk advisory firm Kroll said that since 2016, Bollywood has slipped in terms of celebrity ad rating splits. That year, Bollywood actors accounted for 81.7% of the total brand value of India’s top 20 celebrities, while the remaining 18.3% were sports stars. However, in the current analysis, the share of Bollywood stars has dropped to 67.6% of the total brand value, with 28.9% being sports stars and the remaining 3.5% being Tollywood stars. The list also features two South Indian stars, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandaana, both new to the list.
