Denpasar (ANTARA) – Mayor of Denpasar, Bali, I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara, discussed the potential for cooperation that could exist between the city's local government and the Indian government during the visit of the Consul General of India to Bali, Shashank Vikram. .
“Bali and India actually have proximities and similarities, especially in the cultural field. This will enhance the potential for cooperation and collaboration between the city of Denpasar and India,” Jaya Negara said in Denpasar on Wednesday.

According to him, various cultural and artistic activities in Denpasar City, such as the Denpasar Festival, can also be used as potential for cooperation between the two sides.
Apart from being a friendly visit, the meeting also discussed a number of potential collaborations that could be established between Denpasar and India.
“We see many technological advancements and other developments in Indian regions, both in states and in city districts. That is why we hope to establish more intensive cooperation in the future,” said Jaya Negara.

Responding to this, Shashank Vikram said that there were many things that could be developed into points of cooperation and collaboration between Denpasar and Indian authorities.
He gave examples of cooperation in the industrial sector, export potential as well as cultural and artistic cooperation.
“We hope to be able to participate in cultural and artistic activities in the city of Denpasar by sending our dance group directly from India,” he said.
