A man in India, Nakaphodi Majhi allegedly beheaded his wife, Safala Majhi (45) in Chandrasekharpur village, Dhenkanal district, India. Apparently this action was based on the suspicion that his wife was having an affair.
City of New Indian Expressthe suspect even carried his wife’s head, which he had decapitated, in his hands as he prepared to go to the police station.
However, while he was going to the police station, this 55-year-old man was arrested by local residents and then handed over to the authorities.
Currently, the police have arrested the suspect and also confiscated the tools or weapons he used to kill his wife.
During the initial investigation, police said the suspect killed his wife by slitting her throat and then beheading her. As we know, the husband and wife have two sons who live outside the village.
“A case has been registered and an investigation is being carried out on the spot. Other investigations are still ongoing,” said a police officer quoted on Saturday (7/30).
