As previously reported, the Q1 2022 YouGov BrandIndex survey indicated that the send money feature remains the top choice for DANA digital wallet users.
The positive impact is that the remittance functionality has also seen positive growth, with penetration reaching almost 30% during this period.
DANA Indonesia Chief Product Officer Rangga Wiseno said the meteoric growth of the money transfer functionality cannot be separated from the growing adoption of digital wallets over the past two years.
“The presence of digital wallets has now shifted into a solution to meet various daily needs, including sending money. We believe that people’s habits of sending money digitally will be a good first step to make people more interested in various other digital financial services,” Rangga said in his statement, Sunday (6/19/2022).
Out of a total of over 3,600 survey respondents, the DANA money transfer feature proved to be very popular with 31% of respondents at a young age, particularly between 18 and 24, and was used to send money, both between users and to other bank accounts.
