“Today they played really well. They read our ball, we lost in the front court and the ball was small,” Hendra said in his written statement, Sunday (11/12).

This result allowed Ahsan/Hendra to end the year without a title. However, this year they both managed to qualify for three major event finals out of a total of five finals held in all badminton tournament series organized by the BWF. The three major events in question are Runner-Up All England 2022, Runner-Up World Championships 2022: Runner-Up World Tour Finals 2022.
