On August 27, Pope Francis will appoint, or “create”, as Catholic jargon calls it, 21 new cardinals. This decision has fueled speculation that the Pope will step down. Again, someone has to add. 85-year-old Francis has not been in the best of health for some time. And now there are some questions about the decision on his part.
