The Indian cricket team emerged victorious by 2-0 in the Test series against Bangladesh, but the scoreline gives no real reflection on how the series would go. In the second test, the team had to rely on the race of Ravichandran Ashwin to secure victory as top batsman, including reserve captain Rahul from Kuala Lumpur And Virat Kohli Keep fighting. Kohli’s performances were such that even his childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, did not budge from his criticism. He even said the way Virat came out was “unacceptable”.
in chat on Indian sports news“It was a shame” to see drummer Virat Kohli wrestle with Bangladeshi spinners, said Rajkumar Sharma.
“The drummer was very upset after he left and Virat Kohli was very aggressive,” he said on India News Sports. “But the way he came out was unacceptable. It’s a shame to see a drummer fighting against Bangladeshi spinners. He should have shown more intention.
Rajkumar also suggests that he should attack Kohli with a free spirit, in an effort to unsettle the spinners.
“With the two defenders in the middle of the field and his center in the circle, he can play a little more freely. Unless you annoy the defender, he won’t let you play. You have to do something creative like play a sweep or an outside sweep.
India’s top four bowlers, including Rahul and star batsman Virat Kohli, have been struggling with rotation for some time now. The Indian team is still in contention for the WTC final and is set to beat Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Cup next year. India will be the undisputed favourites, losing just two Tests in the last decade at home. But their successes no longer exude the same confidence as before.
