Badminton News: In keeping with the latest trends, the VICTOR China Open 2023 Men’s Singles will once again see a grand opening match between recent BWF HSBC World Tour winners.
The China Open (September 5-10, 2023), to be held in Changzhou, will be the first World Tour event after the 2023 TotalEnergies BWF World Championships and the fourth and final Super 1000 event of the year.
Danish top seed, Viktor Axelsen, winner of three events this season, will face Indonesian Taiwan Open champion, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, while in the same quarter, Korea Open winner, Anders Antonsen , will face the Indian champion of the Canada Open, Lakshya Sen.
In the second quarter, India Open Super 750 winner Kunlavut Vitidsarn will face Indian Orleans Masters champion Priyanshu Rajawat while Indonesian Masters winner Jonatan Christie and Golden Open winner Australia, a native of China, Weng Hong Yang will square off.
