Chennai: A Chennai driver's eco-friendly solution to beat the heat is winning hearts online. The video of an autorickshaw waiting in traffic shows a pipe built into the vehicle with one end protruding inward and the other end protruding outward. The video was posted by user (Ramez) and the text overlay on the video said, “Indians are brilliant.”
Since the video was shared on Instagram on March 16, it has been shared widely. So far it has garnered over 617,000 likes.
Several users were confused by the video, but learned that the attachment was from a fan in the comments section of the post. “He literally built a fan with a pipe,” one user said. “Eco-friendly fan,” another added.
Some praised Indians' innovative efforts. The comments section was flooded with “India is not for beginners” texts. Another user said: “Innovative India.” “We Indians never disappoint,” a third added.
