Additionally, BYD SEAL comes with a battery warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km (whichever comes first), a warranty of 8 years or 1,50,000 km (whichever comes first) on the motor and motor controller, and a warranty of 6 years or 1 ,50,000 km (whichever comes first) for the vehicle itself.

BYD will offer the Seal EV in four color options: Aurora White, Cosmos Black, Atlantis Gray, and Artic Blue. This electric sedan has received 5 stars in Euro NCAP and ANCAP crash tests.

BYD offers the Seal in three variants: Dynamic, Premium and Performance. They are priced $41 million, $45.55 lakhs and $53 lakhs each. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Dynamic Range produces 201 hp and 310 Nm while the Premium Range produces 308 hp and 360 Nm. The top variant, namely the Performance variant, produces a combined power output from both engines of 522 hp and 670 Nm.
