DENPASAR, BALIPOST.com – Indian warship (Indian Navy vessel) Sumedha docked at the East Pier of Benoa Port, Bali on Thursday (4/8). His arrival was aimed at port visits as part of the Operational Turn Round (OTR) – Fueling and Rationing, as well as conducting training with KRI Sultan Hasanuddin-366.
Exercises include Passex, Flaghoist and RAS (Mailbag Transfer). The arrival of INS Sumedha, consisting of 118 personnel, with Commander Cdr P Phaneedra, was greeted by personnel from Naval Base Denpasar (Lanal), led by Commander Denpasar Lanal, Marine Colonel I Dewa Nyoman Gede Rake Susilo, SE.
During the welcoming ceremony, the Indian Defense Attaché, Consul General of India was also present in Bali along with his Deputy, Deputy Indian Defense Attaché PO2 Sauras. The warship is expected to be in Bali for three days, August 4-6, 2022.
While in Bali, they plan to pay a courtesy visit to Danlanal Denpasar, the Mayor of Denpasar and the Governor of Bali. Then prepare the logistics equipment, and check the submarine line (BGA) if necessary.
Guided tours of the city, boats open to the public, joint sports and mutual interaction with the KRIs who dock at the port of Benoa in Bali.
