Divya Kakran missed the senior championships this month for the same reason and will miss the Paris Olympics if found guilty.
It appears that Asian Games wrestler and CWG medalist Divya Kakran is in trouble and facing a doping ban of up to four years. According to a report published in Amar Ujala, the test results were positive for a substance called methyltestosterone. In response, he was temporarily suspended by NADA, and if he cannot prove his innocence, he will be suspended for a long period.
The report further states that the samples were collected as part of an out-of-competition test held on December 15 last year at his home in UP. The temporary suspension took place on January 10 and as a result Divya was unable to participate in the national senior wrestling competition. The report also shows that his B sample was also taken.
