Badminton News: The young Indonesian team will play in the semi-finals of the Asian Junior Team Championships 2023 which will start on Monday (10/7) WIB at Among Rogo Sports Hall Yogyakarta against a strong team from Thailand.
Previously in the quarter-finals, Merah Putih managed to beat India with a final score of 3-1, while Thailand managed to get rid of Malaysia with a crushing score of 3-0.
In the first mixed doubles match, the pair Adrian Pratama/Felisha Alberta Pasaribu were again settled and this time they will face representatives of Thailand, Tanakorn Meechai/Fungfa Korpthammakit.
Alwi Farhan, who has always played in the previous matches and was decisive for the Red and White team against India in the quarter-finals, will play the second match against the representative of Thailand, Nachakorn Pusri.
Mutiara Ayu Puspitasari, who was rested against India in the quarter-finals, has the confidence of the coach once again and will face a Thai player, Saranporn S in the third game.
In the fourth men’s doubles match, the pair Muhamad Al Farizi / Nickolaus Joaquin will line up again in the fourth match and will face Thai representatives, the pair Phuwanat Horbanluwekit / Thanadol Yunmongkol.
