Shaadi.com Founder and Chief Executive Officer Anupam Mittal is very active on social media showing his fun side. He asked Twitter users, “Is Twitter becoming the new Quora?” via his Twitter account this Saturday (January 21).
In response to his tweet, a Twitter user named Atul Mishra compared the new season of Shark Tank to a popular daily soap opera, citing, “Nah, but Shark Tank is the new Sasural Simar Ka.”
Anupam said in a witty response to this tweet, “Oh good for you as you’re both clearly watching,” which caused quite a stir. To which the user replied that he had seen it and only realized its value after watching inferior shows, possibly referring to Shark Tank India.
“Take that feedback and work on it next season,” another netizen wrote in response to Atul’s argument, “We have enough sob shows to skip so skipping this one isn’t a big deal, but it was a good show in season 1,” commented another.
This led to many supporting user Atul and pointing out that the standard of the show’s second season has actually dropped. To which Anupam said that as Shark, he and the producers aim to keep the authenticity and innocence alive.
