Features coming with Android 15 Beta 2
The update brings a new volume panel to Android phones. It also introduces Private Space, a secure, encrypted area within your phone where you can hide and lock sensitive apps. The feature aims to provide an extra layer of authentication on Android phones, ensuring that the user's personal information is protected.
For users with larger screen devices like the Pixel tablet, the update comes with improved multitasking capabilities. Users can pin the taskbar, quickly switch between apps, and save their favorite split-screen combinations for a smooth browsing experience. Additionally, Android 15 has a Predictive Back feature that uses animations to show users exactly where the back button will take them, eliminating the frustration of accidentally navigating to the wrong screen.
