In India, Anais Meyssonnier and Camille Chevalier managed on a heartwarming day to position themselves in the top 10, six and seven points behind regional stage leader Amandeep Drall.
Anais Meyssonnier digested well his 78 (+6) from the previous day. L’Arlésienne recovered in this moving day with a very good 68 (-4). He started perfectly with two birdies and an eagle in the first third. If the Habs conceded two bogeys on their return, they were erased by two new birdies that allowed them to move up to sixth place.
He’s in front of his compatriots Camille Chevalier at a time. Marseillaise also started the day well with a round trip completed in the 33rd minute (-3). But Beginner of the Year 2017 conceded two bogeys in 13 and 14, before finishing 18th with a fourth birdie. His 70 (-2) put him back in eighth place.
Amandeep Drall takes over
Still need a miracle for Camille Chevalier won for the second time in his career India Open Heroine. Winner in 2017, he trailed by seven strokes (six to Meyssonnier) on Almond Drall before the last round.
The Indian signed a convincing 67(-5) without fault, his second this week, to lead the event to the delight of his supporters.
