Alleged ‘sniffing’: PM statement denounced as ‘pretty good’ by India according to Hindustan Times

The alleged sniffing case was discussed at a meeting in India. This was reported by “Hindustan Times” in an article published online yesterday, Monday 1 August. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi stressed that Pravind Jugnauth’s statement to the nation on July 27 about the whole controversy was “pretty good” from India’s point of view, the newspaper reported in line.

The Hindustan Times wrote: “At regular briefings, Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that Jugnauth’s statement on the controversy was ‘quite good’ from India’s point of view”.

In addition, “Hindustan Times” also talked about the scandal.
