Aditya Pande appointed CEO of InterGlobe Enterprises | Business News from India

NEW DELHI: indigo's former CFO Aditya Pande will be the parent company of the airline InterGlobe Group of Companies (IGE). CEO from March 1, 2024. Pande left Udaan as CFO on Monday, adding to the growing list of top executives who have left the B2B e-commerce startup in recent months.
Excluding the airline, Pande will have “overall responsibility for setting IGE's strategic agenda as well as overseeing and further strengthening the leadership of the company's business units and human resources functions,” IGE said in a statement.
Pande will report to IGE promoter Rahul Bhatia and all existing directors would report to him. According to BSE filings, IGE's stake in IndiGo stood at 37.8% at the end of the December quarter. IGE is part of IndiGo's support group, which includes Rahul Bhatia, among others.
Pande was appointed CFO of IndiGo in August 2019 and left the position about three years ago. Then he came to Udaan and will now join the IGE. A seasoned professional with diverse experience spanning over 25 years, he has held business strategy and finance positions at companies such as General Electric and Arthur Andersen. “…Aditya brings extensive experience in dealing with business partners, investors and analysts…. This imperative step by InterGlobe is to strengthen its current leadership team as the company advances its ambitious global plans,” IGE said in a statement. IGE is an Indian travel group active in aviation (IndiGo), hospitality, logistics, airline management, travel retail, advanced pilot training and aircraft maintenance engineering.
