Lakhsya Sen and Prannoy HS are among a row of the world’s top stars who have decided to sit out the badminton event, the Australian Open 2022.

The Australian Open 2022 is a series of Super300 badminton tournaments which is the culmination of the BWF World Tour before the BWF World Tour 2022 Finals at the end of the year.

Lakshya Sen has decided to withdraw from the Australian Open 2022 just days before the opening match on Tuesday (11/15/22).

Meanwhile, Prannoy HS had no plans to participate in the Australian Open 2022 from the outset. Even at the Hylo Open last week, the world’s 12th badminton player also decided to opt out or withdraw.

Physical issues may prevent Lakhsya Sen and Prannoy HS from participating in the Australian Open 2022.

The award ceremony titled Arjuna Awards 2022 was hosted by India’s Ministry of Youth and Sports on Monday (11/14/22).

The Indian Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award 2022 to a number of outstanding athletes.

From the list of winners, Lakshya Sen and Prannoy HS is a badminton athlete who deserves an honorary title.
