The BCCI has arranged special Air India flights for the return of coaches, cricketers, their families and Indian media representatives to India.
Amidst Hurricane Beryl, a special Air India flight has landed in Barbados to evacuate Team India. On this flight, the team will return to India, according to news agency ANI. After winning the 2024 T20 World Cup, the Indian team was stranded in Barbados by Hurricane Beryl, a category 4 storm.
The flight finally arrives in the Caribbean
The BCCI has arranged a special Air India flight for coaches, cricketers and their families to return to India. Indian media representatives who went to cover the tournament but were stranded due to the hurricane will also be flown on the special chartered flight arranged by BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
