Twitter recently laid off about 3,800 employees to cut costs. While Meta also laid off 11,000 employees.
Almost every week, tech companies announce layoffs. Employees most affected are H1B visa holders and that includes many citizens India.

They must find work within 60 days to continue living in the United States, and if they cannot find any, they will be forced to return to India.
In view of the current situation, Harsh Jain, CEO and co-founder of Dream11, announced that Indians should return to their country and work with Indian tech companies to help them thrive.
“With all of Tech’s layoffs in 2022 (52,000 people) in the US, please spread the word to remind Indians to go home (especially those with visa issues) to help Indian Tech fulfill our potential of hyper-growth over the next decade,” Jain said. on Twitter citing India Today, Saturday (12/11/2022).
He has publicly offered jobs to affected employees, saying his company is always on the lookout for great talent, especially with leadership experience in design, product and Technology.

Jain also says his company’s financial situation is sound. Therefore, it can give them a sense of security while working.
