Parveen Sabrina and Ilias Raphaël Kahn, heirs to a musical lineage from Rajastan spanning seven generations, grew up in India where they were taught Indian classical music. He accompanies himself in tanpura and performs râgas, but also maands, traditional songs from Rajasthan which disappeared and he is the only guarantor today. His brother supported this improv with mastery
his tablas and beatboxing techniques bring a touch of modernism to this ancient art. Concert followed by alcoholic drinks at
The Hôtel Dieu Chapel and screening of “Salon de Musique”, Satyajit Ray’s masterpiece at the 400 Blows cinema.
