The two examiners have two different lifestyles and this can be seen from their initial motivation: “This unusual project aligns with my interest in healthy cooking and my questions about life,” says Valérie Bonneton. As for Alfred de Montesquiou “traveling to learn and share is at the core of my work as a journalist”.
After medical examination and follow-up during investigation by Dr. Sarah Longé, specialist in life extension, practicing at La Rochelle, Valérie and Alfred will, with much humor and will, participate in many experiences. The goal is to find out whether at the end of their trip, their biological age of departure listed at the beginning of the program will decrease or not.
Lots of experience
During their trip, they will undergo a six-day fast in Périgord, meet American doctors who offer stem cell and hormone-based therapies, visit residents of the Costa Rican region who are older than anywhere else, undergo state-of-the-art techniques at a clinic for the wealthy in Spain and experimenting with Ayurvedic medicine in India. At every step, Dr. Longé would explain to them whether the method they had just discovered was reliable. Investigations into this serious topic go better with the joy and enthusiasm of Valérie Bonneton and Alfred de Montesquiou.
