KBB NEWS – A total of 16 countries are confirmed qualified for the U-17 Asian Cup 2023 or Asian Cup 2023.
A total of 10 countries that won the group confirmed to qualify for the U-17 Asian Cup 2023. The 10 countries are Japan, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Vietnam , Australia, Tajikistan, Iran and Uzbekistan.
The other 6 countries qualified after being the best runners-up in their respective groups. The finalists selected were India (group D), Thailand (group F), China (group G), Afghanistan (group H), Laos (group I) and South Korea (group J).

Meanwhile, Indonesia failed to qualify for the U-17 Asian Cup 2022 after losing the last game against Malaysia.
The Indonesian national team previously topped the standings after losing 1-5 to the Malaysian national team.
Garuda Muda also did not make the best runners-up category with the 6 teams selected, including Laos and India.

Laos and India are the last countries to participate in the Asian U-17 Cup 2023. Laos won against Kyrgyzstan with a narrow score of 2-1, while India lost against Arabia Saudi with a score of 1-2.
