Tripartite meeting between India, United Arab Emirates and France in New York

The Indian Foreign Minister began his visit with a meeting with his Latin American counterparts as part of the India-Celac Quartet (Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries), the Indian government has decided to intensify its involvement in the region.

He is also expected to attend ministerial-level meetings with his counterparts from the United Arab Emirates and France, as well as meet the foreign ministers of Egypt and Indonesia.

India, United Arab Emirates and France held their first trilateral meeting in July to explore cooperation opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region, including in maritime security, blue economy, regional connectivity, and food and energy security. They also discussed next steps to advance trilateral cooperation in the Indo-Pacific. This trilateral meeting took place a few days after the French Foreign Minister’s visit to India.
